Vietnam Offroad offers selected used motorbikes for sale in Hanoi, Northern Vietnam. Our used bikes are Japanese Honda motorcycles that have been part of our own fleet for guided motorcycle tours and rentals. As our main business is motorcycle touring and rental, we do not offer a buy-back option after you purchase a bike from us.

We regularly upgrade, maintain, and refurbish our motorcycle fleet to keep a good selection of reliable bikes available in Hanoi. The motorcycles listed below have been maintained and repaired by our own mechanics and are offered for sale as we make room for newer models. They may show normal signs of use from touring, but their mechanical condition and maintenance are our priorities. Each motorcycle comes with a two-month engine guarantee, giving buyers additional peace of mind when purchasing a used motorbike in Vietnam.

Other Used Bikes For Sale

You can find cheaper used motorbikes at Dich Vong second-hand markets in Hanoi. However, buyers should be careful because some motorcycles have been fitted with low-quality Chinese generic replacement parts. Although these bikes may look attractive because of their lower prices, their performance and reliability can deteriorate quickly after purchase.

There are also many motorcycles offered for sale by shops, individual sellers, and tourists that are Chinese copies of popular Japanese Honda Win or Taiwanese SYM (San Yang Motors) Bonus motorcycles. Some sellers may advertise these bikes as a Honda Win or Honda Bonus, even when they are not genuine Honda motorcycles. This can be confusing for buyers who are unfamiliar with the Vietnamese second-hand motorcycle market.

Fortunately, there is a simple way to check the motorcycle’s origin: check the registration paper (vehicle registration). Look at the brand/manufacturer section of the registration. If it states Honda, the motorcycle is registered as a Honda. If another manufacturer is listed, it is not a genuine Honda, regardless of what the seller calls it. Always check the paperwork carefully before buying a used motorbike in Hanoi.

Our used Honda XR150L 150cc off-road motorbikes from 2016-2017 are available for sale in Hanoi for $1,650 US each. The Honda XR150L is a popular dual-sport motorcycle for exploring Vietnam, offering a practical combination of reliable performance, comfortable riding, and good capability on both paved roads and rough mountain tracks.

These motorcycles have been part of our Offroad Vietnam touring fleet and have been maintained and serviced by our own mechanics. They are a good option for riders looking for a reliable used motorbike in Hanoi for longer trips, including Vietnam’s northern mountain regions and remote countryside.

All bikes are sold individually, and availability depends on our current fleet upgrades.

The Honda XR150L 150cc was produced in 2016 and 2017 in China by Sundiro Honda, a joint venture producing genuine Honda motorcycles for the market. It is a real Honda product, not a Chinese copy. Manufacturing in China helped keep production costs and the final price competitive while maintaining Honda’s design and quality standards.

For our Offroad Vietnam XR150L fleet, we have made several customizations and upgrades to improve durability and make the bikes more robust for long-distance riding, mountain roads, and rougher terrain. With proper maintenance and care, these motorcycles can continue to provide reliable service for many years.

The used XR150L motorcycles currently available have approximately 20,000-30,000 km on the odometer and are offered in good overall condition. They have been regularly maintained by our own mechanics and are now available as we upgrade our touring fleet.

Used Motorbikes For Sale: 2013 – 2015 Honda Wave & Blade 100-110cc (600-650$US each)

Vietnam Offroad has been using this type of Honda semi-automatic scooter since 2006. We regularly upgrade our motorcycle fleet and replace older bikes with newer models, which allows us to offer selected used scooters for sale. The used scooters listed above are in great condition, regularly serviced, and fully maintained, with necessary replacement parts fitted by our mechanics. They are ready to continue providing reliable service for many years.

These Honda semi-automatic scooters were manufactured in Vietnam between 2013 and 2015. They feature a single-cylinder engine, 4-speed rotary gearbox, approximately 100 kg of weight, and either disc or drum brakes, depending on the model. The engine produces around 9 HP, while the 17-inch front and rear wheels make it easy to handle small potholes and uneven roads. All our used scooters are equipped with both electric and kick-start systems, making it easy to start the motorcycle even when the battery is low. Various colours are available, depending on current stock.

Every scooter has received recent servicing, maintenance, and necessary part replacements to ensure good working condition before sale. All bikes come with blue registration papers, providing the necessary registration documentation for the motorcycle.

Honestly, these bikes perform remarkably well for their age and can feel close to a newer motorcycle when properly maintained. You can expect plenty of useful mileage from them for years to come. Honda has a legendary reputation in Vietnam, where semi-automatic Honda motorcycles are extremely common. Some older Honda models have been running on Vietnamese roads for more than 50 years and are still being used today. As a general note, many of the used touring motorbikes for sale in Vietnam are actually Chinese copies of the Honda Win 100cc. Although they can be inexpensive, these motorcycles can often become more trouble than fun, especially when used for long-distance travel or demanding mountain roads.
